Our Roots in the Arts
Before becoming the Bridgeport CT Center of The Arts that you know today, we were proudly known as the Bridgeport Children’s Conservatory of the Arts. Our journey began as a dynamic youth dance group, founded in 2004, where students as young as 6 trained in diverse dance styles such as jazz, modern, ballet, and hip-hop.
Our commitment to excellence and creativity quickly gained recognition—so much so that in 2007, we were featured on the front page of the Connecticut Post’s “Focus” section for our “Cool Moves.” The article highlighted our dedication, discipline, and passion as young performers who practiced weekly at Hall Neighborhood House, preparing for community showcases and competitions.
